I met Zach and Conner back in September of 2020 for their engagement session at Huntington Beach. A few months later they reached out to me again and asked me to photograph their wedding. I was pretty excited because this couple is just a joy to work with. So easy going!
They were married on February 6th at St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City and had a small reception at The Holiday Inn in Surfside Beach.
Since relocating to Myrtle Beach from West Virginia over 4 years ago, I've only done a handful of church weddings in the area. As you can imagine, most couples opt for outside weddings at the beautiful venues and beaches we have here.

Their love story, from Conner:
Zach and I met on match.com while I was in graduate school at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. For our first date, we went to a restaurant called Café 4. I was so nervous, that I almost ran away before he got there! That would have been an awful mistake. He told me later on that he knew I was the one on our first date when he saw that I drove a Nissan Altima. I took a little more time. In fact, I can’t really remember a moment when I knew he was the one. It was a bunch of little things that made me gradually realize that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. A year and half after that first date, Zach proposed while we were on a trip to Arizona. Despite the fact that the proposal was not a surprise at all, I was still ecstatic. We are excited to see where our life together takes us!
